How to Remove the Password from an Aadhaar PDF

The e-Aadhaar PDF you download from UIDAI opens with a password (first 4 letters of your name in CAPITALS + birth year, e.g. RAHU1998). To save a normal, open copy, use Unlock PDF — free, no signup.

Steps

1. Open Unlock PDF.
2. Upload your Aadhaar PDF and enter its password.
3. Download the unlocked copy — now it opens without a password.

Only do this for your own document. The tool needs the correct password — it does not crack PDFs.
